Hey, how's it going? Well, it's been another week, and I'm here again, and I'm not sure how long this is going to be, but let's see how it turns out.

First and foremost, posting on Sunday is weird. I even went to turn on the computer Wednesday night but I caught myself and thought "no dummy - it's on Sunday now". It'll normalize after a few weeks, but for now it's still weird.

Anyway, I don't honestly remember much of the first half of the week, probably because I was still feeling that distractedness that I mentioned in my last post. Work was fairly normal and I made some decent progress on the blanket I started, but beyond that I'm drawing a blank. I'll see how the coming week works out, but maybe I need to start making daily notes?

Friday was another vacation day and I kept it as a relaxed day (no chores, but in hindsight maybe I should have since I was overloaded today). I had lunch again with my good friend, and since the weather was alright and we had some extra time we went for a stroll and chatted some more. She talked about the book she's been reading (which I might borrow when she's done), and I pointed out some interesting facts about a couple historical buildings we passed by - all in all some quality hang-out time.

The second half of the curling season kicked off Friday night. In our league the teams get switched around for the second half, so I had all different teammates than before. I think we have a fun group, and we started off with a strong win. Oh, and I played my first game of the year without using the push stick. I'm still going to keep it handy in case I start feeling some soreness flaring up in my knee, but so far so good. And it felt really good playing the game "normally" again.

Goals are doing ok - just shy of 70% this week. Not terrible, but there's a few things I'm failing miserably at, and I'll need to get some traction on those if I want to start seeing some improvement. A post with my goals list for 2024 will be following shortly after this one.

And I think that will about do it for this week. I hope the coming week, and the start of the new month, are great for everyone, and I will see you next Sunday. =]
