New thing... Adjustable bed
Mar. 9th, 2021 05:23 amWe recently made the switch to an adjustable bed. It’s been two nights now, and at this point I can say - without a doubt - that I’m completely unsure if it was a good idea.
On the one hand, apparently my snoring is greatly reduced. This is definitely a good thing. This should mean that I’m breathing better while I sleep, which should, in turn, lead to more restful sleep - something I desperately need. On the other hand, so far I’ve woken up each day with considerable stiffness all over (mostly back and legs). I’m not sure if it’s from the position I’ve put the bed into, the new mattress, a combination of those, or something completely separate that is being aggravated by the new setup.
So for now I suppose I keep paying attention to how I feel each night going to bed, and each morning when I wake up. Maybe it’s just a matter of getting used to it. Maybe it was a huge mistake. I guess time will tell.
