These past weeks...

Hey, I'm on time! Or am I a week late? Either or, once again the late hockey game has me scrambling to catch up, so here we go.
Not much to say about work, other than that each day there seems to be just a bit less work to do. Not a promising sign by any means. But I'm in 'wait and see' mode now - I've stuck it out this long, I'm not about to walk away.
Goals dropped again to an all-time low two weeks ago, but with a great deal of diligent effort, rebounded significantly last week. The hardest part has been breaking some bad habits I've fallen into - well, not habits, coping mechanisms. I've made some good progress on that, and I have some plans for some new things that should help keep it moving forward, but it's tough when the underlying causes are still there.
Running has been going well. I've logged lots of kilometers, but still relatively shorter distances. This past Friday I had my second race of the year, and that went really well. Not only was it a really fun day hanging out with a number of run club friends, but I also hit a new personal record for a timed 5K. Now I need to make time for longer runs at least once a week, to start getting ready for the two half-marathons that are coming up in the fall. I also kinda decided that I want to do a full marathon next year, but we'll see (I think I'm getting addicted).
The bulk of this weekend was spent getting the back porch and outdoor furniture cleaned and set up. It was a lot of work, but everything is all set and looks great. We even took advantage of the nice weather today to have mother's day dinner outside. The food was excellent, and we also gave my MIL the framed puzzle that I had finished a couple weeks back, which she really loved.
Well, in an effort to start the coming week off on the right foot, I'm going to end this here and get myself off to bed. Have a wonderful week, and I'll see you the next time around. =]
