I’ve lamented in the past about not making posts very often. I’ve gone so far as to question myself as to why that is. And yet, here it is with another 2.5 weeks behind me, and narry a peep.

So, I’ve decided to take a cue from so many others in DW, and start a weekly post. But what to write about? After some thought and reflection, I realized one of the things I wanted to do here right from the beginning was to try and learn to be more open about myself - especially things that aren’t negative. What I’ve settled on is to take one thing from my Interests list each week, and write something about it. Could be quick, could be pages. But it’s something.

Not sure when this will start, or what day I’ll of the week it’ll take place. For now I have a plan, and we’ll see how it plays out.  =]

If you really want an idea of my activity, visit my blog and look at the post numbers in the tag list. The Poem tag is up over 6000.

Should I expand my writings beyond this starting point, there are lots of good ideas in here that I can put into practice. For now the hard part will be just to remember to make my posts (thank you alarms on cell phones). <<

It typically takes at least a month to establish a new habit -- more if you're aiming for weekly rather than daily activities. I use a desktop calendar to write down post reminders. Electronic ones can be more active in soliciting your attention.
