It's 11:30.
I just finished working (only 12 hours today).
And I'm tired.

Not much has changed in the past week. Despite recording pass/fail on my goals each day, it's been over a month since I've added anything up. About all I know for sure is that I'm the heaviest I've been in a year (since everything went to shit last May/June). Decided enough was enough with that one though, and started jogging in the mornings and walking at lunch. Now if I could just get rid of the stress...

Had multiple plans with friends fall through last week, mostly because of work. Yes, those people understand what things have been like for me lately, so I know there are no bad feelings about it. But it still feels lousy to keep making plans and then turn around and say "Sorry, looks like I have to bail again". Hell, just today I came across a neat looking event happening this weekend, but I know I'll be working so there's no point even mentioning it to anyone.

A couple of bright spots. You may have read my post on Monday, about my little poem. It's only a handful of words, but I'm still kinda proud of myself for coming up with it. Also, I do have lunch plans for tomorrow, which I most definitely will be keeping (I already blocked out 3 hours on my work calendar so no idiot comes along and tries to schedule a meeting on me).

OK, time for sleep (he says, knowing full well it'll be another hour before his brain unwinds enough for sleep to be possible).

Until next time. =]

Man, I'm so sorry that you're still under so much pressure at work, especially if it's interrupting your attempts at maintaining a social life and seeing friends. Good to hear you've got some solid lunch plans to look forward to at least. And I missed your post Monday but I've just had a look and read your cute little poem-- I see why you're proud of it! I hope you'll share more if they happen to come to you.
