And one begat the next...
Aug. 1st, 2022 01:36 pm When one person in a household contracts a virus, it is probable that it will be passed on to the others. My home is no exception.
It was almost a week ago when my wife tested positive for COVID (she is doing much better BTW). After so many days, I thought I had lucked out and it had passed me by. Alas, it was not to be.
I started getting cold symptoms Saturday evening, and even then I tested negative on both Saturday and Sunday. It wasn't until this afternoon that I got back the inevitable positive test.
So far there's not much to report. A bit of sinus congestion and a mildly sore throat, with the occasional cough and sneeze. Even if it does get a bit worse, it still won't be as bad as what I normally deal with every winter. So fingers crossed it remains mild and passes on quickly.
I'll be trapped at home for the next week, so you may see more posts from me than you're used to. Or not - IDK. Depends on how the week plays out with work and such. But so far all is well, and I hope all is well with you too. =]
