I'm happy with how the baskets turned out, but having a set was entirely unplanned. For the first one I followed a pattern, and it turned out far smaller than it was supposed to (on the left). So for the second one I expanded the pattern to make it the size it was supposed to be (in the center). But I decided that it was far bigger than what I really wanted, and after a couple more modifications to the pattern I got it just right (on the right). And now that I'm writing out the tale, it was a very "Goldilocks" progression from start to finish. XD
More nature pics will definitely be shared as they happen. I'm sure I'll come across those beavers sooner or later
This past Friday worked out great. I was able to spread out my normal weekend stuff so that it wasn't overwhelming, and ended up getting more than usual accomplished in the process. Not that I always want to go that route, but a less stressful weekend is a huge improvement over the norm, and I'll take that win whenever I can. =]
