Taking a day off...

Using a vacation day today. No real reason other than I have 2 weeks of vacation to use up before the end of June and I need to start taking some of it (use it or lose it). The fact that it's St. Patrick's Day was sheer coincidence - everyone I know is at work, so it's not like I'm going out drinking all day by myself.

Productive day so far. Just need to do my banking, and then all of my regular weekend chores are done and out of the way and I can enjoy the rest of the day.

Anyway, that's all. If you're celebrating today, have fun. If not, well it's almost the weekend so you have something to look forward to. =]

It was a good day. After that I went out for lunch, then came home and took an afternoon nap. Getting stuff out of the way helped the weekend go more smoothly also. =]

Alas, it's Monday again - time to start another work week.
