Hiya! I've been dealing with a touch of a stomach bug the past couple days - I think it's pretty much passed but I'm feeling a bit run down, so this will be a quick one then I'm off to bed.

Work has been a bit hectic. The local plant that's being closed will end operations at the end of the coming week, so there's a lot of activity with moving tools and products around to other facilities. Despite the extra workload, I still took Friday off (it'll bite me eventually, but I refuse to lose my vacation time).

Our group of coworkers (almost all are former now) got together for dinner on Wednesday. We were there for a few hours, chatting and catching up - it was a nice evening. I'm still hopeful that we keep doing this regularly. We've started making plans for a winery tour in a couple months, so that's a good start.

Friday was a really good day. In the morning I did a huge chunk of lessons in Duolingo and then read for a bit, so it was fairly low-key. In the afternoon, my friend the brewmaster invited me to come out and tour the brewery she works at. She poured us each a pint straight from the lagering tank, and then walked me through the whole process from grains to canning. It was really interesting to have a one-on-one tour like that. I wrapped up the evening by spending some time hanging out with my good friend. I had a headache starting so I was quieter than usual, but she was in a chatty mood so it balanced out alright. It was a really nice way to end a busy and fun day.

One thing I'm going to have to do is to start using these Fridays off to get some outdoor stuff done. Now that the spring weather looks like it's finally going to stick around, I've got a number of things to do to get the yard ready for outdoor enjoyment. My normal weekends are pretty stuffed, so I'll just have to sacrifice some of my leisure time for a few weeks to get it done.

Finally, goals. Not that I really want to talk about how bad the week was. Sleep was terrible, and I missed on a lot of my weeklies. I am back on track with exercising though, which I'm really happy about.

And that'll do it. Another week in the books. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and have good things to come in the week ahead.

I'll see you in May! =]
