This Past Week...
Mar. 15th, 2023 09:44 pmAside from yesterday's events (I did manage to reel myself in from that), it's been a decent week.
I took that day off Thursday, which was a great day of being disconnected and enjoying myself. There was a minor unfortunate consequence though - I ended up having to work through most of my lunch break on Friday and had to cancel lunch plans I had with my friend. And we were going to have sushi too, dang it!
Did a bunch of food prep and cooking on Sunday, getting some things prepared and put into the freezer for easier weekday meals. I usually try to keep it to a couple things each week, but every once in a while everything seems to run out at the same time. It's helpful in the long run, but it does make for a very long day and eats up half the weekend.
Goals are going ok, with just a slight drop from last week. I've been managing more nights of decent sleep, and by extension I've had enough energy to exercise more. Hoping to keep that trend going.
Nice weather this evening and I didn't have to make dinner - so I decided to go for a jog. It's been a while, and I can already feel it. I always forget about the difference between a treadmill and the real world. But when I wake up with stiff legs in the morning I'll have the motivation to do some stretching as my morning exercise.
Well, as I'm now yawning heavily, I think I'll call it a night. Take care all - I'll talk to you again soon. =]
