I'm doing what?....

 It's a rarity, but I am actually *on* vacation while I am "on" vacation. So often, time taken off from work is spent doing other forms of work, but without the compensation. I'm currently sitting in front of a fire, whiskey in hand, hundreds of kilometers from my home, and I'm thoroughly relaxed. Last night I slept for 9 hours. NINE! I can't remember the last time I slept more than 5 without being hammered.

I spent half of today reading. I went to see a waterfall, and picked up some things from local markets. Tomorrow I'm visiting some friends I haven't seen since before covid. It has been a nice couple days so far.

I'm going back to being on vacation now. I just wanted to share, since good things like this are so annoyingly sparse these days.
