2022…
Much has been written over the past week or so about goals for the coming year. Kudos to everyone - I hope you’re all successful in your endeavours. I personally hadn’t planned on posting anything, but since I found myself already making excuses and putting things off as early as day 2, I feel like I need to find some other sources of motivation.
Like a fool, I thought I could wing it. But establishing new daily habits and routines is apparently going to require some structure. In addition, there are a couple of major home projects I want to get completed this year, and I really need to start the planning phase on those. Tomorrow I’ll be on the hunt for a planner (daily or weekly - not sure which will be a better fit) so I can start organizing my various goals. Hopefully this will lead to some marked improvements next week, and I’ll have a positive update next time around. =]

A planner has been acquired, and I’ve been keeping track of things so far this week. So far a bit better than last week. I’m planning to take some time this weekend to hammer down exactly what I want to track, and develop a code system that I can use to simplify the process.
The hardest part will be the first month or so - breaking out of old habits and getting into new routines. Ultimately that’s my first goal. Once I decide that I’ve achieved that, then I’ll start on the next one.

Are you familiar with the bullet journal method? I'm not sure how well it would fit the planner you chose but I know that a lot of people have had success with it.

Thanks for the tip! =]
