Those that have left already are fairly low in seniority and had no trouble walking away. Most of the ones that are left have been around for years and don't want to give up the benefits of their seniority, but at the same time don't have anything holding them back if they do decide they've had enough.
Then there's me. I've been around for a very long time, and for a variety of reasons, I can't just walk away. I'm pretty much stuck there. So I have to stand my ground, otherwise they'll keep trying to take advantage.
In the end it could still cost me my job, but at least I'll leave with my self-respect. =]
