I'm using a moss (aka linen) stitch. It really does all the work of making the pieces square off so evenly. Even the couple of areas that went a little bit off due to inconsistent tension got compensated for. =]

I've made a start on the next colour - I think 10 rows out of 80 are done on the first piece. Coming along well so far!
