Ugh...
So it's "dog and pony show" day. A bunch of executives are in town to see the new offices. A bunch of people I don't know, and who don't know me. A bunch of people who only seem to care about meeting and chatting with the engineers in the other office.
The people who organized it even went so far as to have separate lunch platters, so our office people didn't overcrowd the other side.
I don't care about how it looks - I left. It's lunch time. Which means it MY time. I'm half way through my walk, and it's a beautiful day, and I parked my ass on a bench to gripe to you all about this nonsense.
Now I can head back and try to muddle through the afternoon, and hopefully the distractions will subside sooner rather than later.
