See, I get the "people I used to know" aspect of FB. Half of most peoples' friends list is family or friends they've lost touch with over the years, and they think becoming FB friends will help them reconnect. In some cases it works, but in most it's just a bigger list of people they don't interact with (I have plenty of those myself). But the thing is, we *literally* only knew each other for 6 months. We met through mutual friends, we dated for a bit, we broke up - that was the extent of it.

You are probably right though. Plus, I think if she was actually trying to contact me she would have sent something through messenger rather than a friend request.

Still weird though.
