Today...
Today has been an alright day. The chaos of the past couple weeks is finally tapering, and with any luck this weekend will be work-free. I'm not out of the woods just yet - still a month or so to get through. But I'm in a much better place than I was earlier in the week.
We finally got our new dining set yesterday, and I put everything together tonight. Ordered it December 28 / expected delivery at the time was March 18 / actual delivery was May 4. It's not a permanent set - the table my father-in-law built 40 years ago will be ours one day. But for a budget-friendly option it's actually really nice, and it matches well with the decor.
With my brain not running a mile a minute for a change, and having done a couple hours of physical activity, I feel like I might actually be ready for bed at a decent hour tonight. Hoping to have a fairly smooth Friday, and be able to get to some outdoor work on the weekend. Maybe even get the soft-top on the Jeep if I can work it in.
